## Origin

워터밤 뮤직 페스티벌(이하 ‘워터밤')은 2015년 대한민국 서울에서 시작되어, 관객이 직접 참여하고 아티스트와 함께 소통하는 체험형 페스티벌입니다. 워터밤의 파운더는 스페인의 이비자, 미국의 마이애미, 라스베가스의 풀파티, 축복의 의미로 서로에게 물을 끼얹는 동남아의 오래된 풍습에서 페스티벌 기획의 아이디어를 얻었습니다.

“호텔 수영장 혹은 바닷가가 아니라도 무더운 도시의 여름을 시원하게 해줄 이벤트는 없을까? “ “건강한 육체를 뽐내는 젊은 남녀가 즐길 수 있는 행사가 있으면 어떨까"

파운더는 이런 행복한 상상을 하며 서울 잠실종합운동장에서 역사적인 1회 행사를 론칭하였습니다.
